Our philosophy

My first birthday. Sugar? This was something I had never tasted before. My mom, a healthy spirit through and through had always decided to avoid sugars in my diet. Unfortunately for my mom, my grandma had a totally different opinion and baked me the most delicious cream cake ever! Carefully, I tasted a little bit. It was like a can of soda popped open in my head and I became unstoppable! Whatever it would take, this was the place I wanted to be. I was fully engulfed through this little piece of happiness! ArtAffect Event Styling Amsterdam lives for amazement. That is what brings us joy and what makes us happy. Dive into a pie and engulf yourself in happiness!

Our founder and owner, Leto Van Olffen is a force to be reckoned with in the event space and will personally make it his mission to bring your event dreams become reality. Leto will get to know your brand, aesthetics and audience, with an eye for detail personalizing every element of your event for a true artistic experience.

Founder and owner, Leto van Olffen is an undeniable force when it comes to organizing events. He makes it his personal mission to make your event a bit of luck. Leto will get to know your brand, aesthetics and audience, and will transform every element of your event into an intense and new artistic experience.

Leto is a born and raised Amsterdammer who saw Reigersbos as his home for the first 18 years. At the inland navigation school he learned everything about working on a ship. He always had an affinity for water and dreamed of starting a snack bar boat someday. A snack bar boat? Yes really, he already saw it completely! Leto likes to take up the challenge in everyday life and always sees things from a different perspective. After his studies he followed his dream and started working as a sailor on a ship. During his adventures on the water, he saw the most beautiful landscapes pass by. These special still lifes formed his artistic insight and partly because of this he developed his own style. He is an art lover and takes creativity from all elements of everyday life. After a while his urge for creativity grew and he decided to study at the graphic lyceum. This opened new doors and allowed him to work as an event stylist at the Supperclub. There he discovered his true passion and talent. With his real go-getter mentality, he started studying Cultural and Social Education at the Hogeschool Van Amsterdam, so that he could study art and the importance of art in society. Leto enjoys every moment and tries to make the most of life. He tries to transfer this energy to his customers every day while planning and designing events.
